basically when i bring up the spy disguise menu it has "e" as my toggle team button however i have not set it to be this i have set it to be "t" which works but so does "e". the problem being that "e" is my forward button and so i cant go forward once i bring up the disguise case. i have checked config.cfg and it seems only "t" is bound to change team.
any ideas?

Do also check the spy.cfg for class specific binds and don't forget autoexec.cfg if you have it in your folder. You could also go with unbind "E" in console and then rebind it in the options to be the forward key. If it comes back next time you play spy, the bind is most certainly in the spy.cfg. Are you using any script packs or have you tried to script anything by yourself? I wasn't aware that E is the standard key for teamdisguise switch...

If it's about key bindings not changing, just adjust your mouse sensitivity to something else then move it back.
Had that a few times.

Type 'bind e' into console it'll tell u what's mapped to it.
After deleting ur cfg file did you use the return to defaults option?
U may have set the change class in the game settings rather than a bind

It's unlikely it's in the game, because then he wouldn't be able to run forward at all. The game only shows the current binds from config.cfg anyway, so you should do it when you have your disguise kit open, otherwise it will come up with +forward, as you CAN run forward as a spy if the disguise kit isn't opened, right? The only way one key can have two different actions on it is through binds that are executed at a specific point ingame (like when opening the disguise kit). If there is definately no class specific script I don't see any reason for the button to rebind itself as soon as you push a different button. How do you open your disguise kit? With a button or do you scroll through your weapons until you get there? It would be easier if we could just check your .cfg files. You could use a service like http://pastebin.com/ to post your .cfg files (please post ALL .cfg files inside your cfg folder).

This is quite possible and plausible thing to do. But agree, get your entire cfg folder uploaded somwhere for us to view it. (This is so you dont forget the settings.scr file )

Ah I read it wrong, my apologies But... it all depends on his scripts, and how well they are written. He could have everything in his autoexec.cfg, or just a random cfg he executes himself during the game (or in his startup commands when launching the game) Either way it sounds well messed up, and for us to advise properly and not just guess we will need to see the scripts

Yeah, it's just weird that the error is still there after Blue deleted the configs... Shouldn't be, normally.
