kindof, sr2 was like gta but silly. SR3 they tried to streamline and be more over the top than silly. Which has ended up with a game with a limited focus (enough to keep you entertained and coop is alright) but with loads of stuff still kicking around from when it was more of a gta but with everything and silly sandbox.
Like there are jets and a bunch of helis in the game you will never ever use because it gives you a better aircraft really early on before you even do anything with the shit ones. And boats, this game has boats but the only time you ever set foot on a boat was 1 mission and you didnt actually do anything with the boat. Homies suck so thats useless too, I actually feel theres less customisation than before. The story is pretty bad. The DLC is almost all worthless and awful (and most of it on disc stuff). The season pass is alright but I felt like they built up to the final dlc mission which was actually really good, and gave you something so over the top and stupid but in a really well done and fun way and then that was it. They didn't do anything with it. Can't even unlock it for dicking around in the city.
I had a lot of fun with it and it was more entertaining than gta4 and its endless parade of man dates but it really wasn't sure what it was doing and its dlc is the absolute moneygrubbinest.
EDIT: oh and the final character upgrades are just cheats you can't ever turn off, the game really loves to just hand you stuff and make it easy than provide any challenge.

I enjoyed SR3 though never played SR2....haven't finished it yet though.
It is a bit bonkers. Fun for a bit of a knockaround. Haven't bothered with any of the dlc

alan wake was in a flash sale already. One or two flash sales have appeared as dailys later on though.

I managed to find remote control of pc downloads, that was pretty sweet, you can control it on your profile which is hard to find, bring up menu, then hit the top left again on your avatar.
But sales notifications haven't worked for me.

Same here it does keep me notified of chat messages but when I open the chat window it doesnt show them... Fallout New Vegas is up for 4,99 for 5 hours. |

Definitely worth it for £3.74 - there's at least a good 30 hours or so of game play in there for that. |

Got both Alan Wake and Fallout NV. Got NV in the last sale. Haven't touched it as still making my way through Fallout. Already put in 80+ hours and only halfway through main quest. Must get back to it. Good game.
Hardly touched Alan Wake but looks promising. Bought it slightly reduced but might as well have waited until a Steam sale but that's the way it goes.

Im on the fence about Alan Wake. The gameplay looked repetitive and my brother who played it said the story basically goes nowhere.
Dont know about the DLC-Standalone one though.

Hmm...I have heard that but also good things. I think it's an interesting game and concept even if it doesn't quite come off.
I've heard more negative things about the dlc so probably only worth getting cheap and if you really feel you want to.

The first couple episodes are great story/gameplay wise, it gets stupider near the end. There's some dumb components to the gameplay but overall enjoyable. I think worth the price they're asking.
If you liked the first two max paynes there's a decent chance you'll like it.
