I'm currently running a Creative X-fi optically linked to a beresford headphone DAC/Amp with a Sennheiser 595. Virtual 7.1 surround is sweet, brilliant soundstage for positional audio on the 595's. Easily the most comfortable 'phones i've used, light and they fit people like me with smallish heads, usually even on the smallest extension setting headphones are slightly too big for me, but on these i actually had to extend the arms out a bit. Setup is sweet for music too, though the bass is a lot more subtle (much cleaner sound than cheap phones, but it doesn't rattle your teeth)

Lol Zarf, I think he's referring more to hats and head gear rather than headphones

Oh I dunn o. Head phones could be considered contempory head gear? I suppose, to simplify some what, you could say that anything that you can wear on your head qualifies.
But with that in mind people could train a cat to curl up on thier head and call it a hat. Or maybe a bag of oranges. Or you could go on an adventure and find a realy tiny safron robed monk and perswade him to sit on top of your head.
Or alternativly you lot could just post pictures of your selfs wearing helmets, hats and headphones. Or may be authentic American Indian headdresses?

That is a scarily tidy desk, I'm happy if I can reach the mouse and keyboard and see most of the monitor

It's all in the name of gaming efficiency. A pot of tea takes roughly the same amount of time to make as a cup, and allows me to stay seated for 4 times as long between trips to the kitchen.
I drink my body weight in Tea every two months but I can give it up any time I want. *shakes*
