So, who fancies hand-holding a newb tonight? Well up for a game  . After a little tickling of the frag-fest that is? I'm in so you'll at least get some easy kills  anybody seen a fix for the spawning lag yet, its driving me friggin insane! |

since the patch when I respawn, my pc hangs like a massive lag spike. Fraps show my fps drops to 2 and the enter battle button doesn't work. I have keep clicking it for a good ten seconds to spawn. Once I do spawn it's all fine. |

hmm, do you leave either the kit menu or the squad menu hanging out? The menu code is awful and I get lag whenever I have those open. But I havn't tested the patch yet so I guess the menus could be even worse now.

Ok, started playing the single player yesterday. I like, its good....feels a bit slower then I'm used to though. I would've tried out some more mulitplayer, but after 4 tries I couldn't get anything coming up in the server browser; not even in my history tabs...Anyone got any fixes for this? (Sorry if its already been bought up, couldn't be arsed to go through a 50 page thread  ). |

Have you upgraded to the latest patch? If so try narrowing the search to Europe + uk in the typing bit.
Also I fixed the spawn lag I had above, excluded my bcbc2 folder from the virus scanner.

I assume as I'm on Steam I've already got the latest patch? Otherwise, no I haven't . As for the search narrowing thing, I think I tried that, left it searching, went and made a cuppa, had a fag, came back and there was still nothing. And I did that a couple of times too. Maybe I'm just unlucky...You don't have to fuck about with network settings or anything do you? |

Shouldn't have to I had a similar problems before the patch but that sorted it. http://forum.ea.com/eaforum/posts/list/448777.page^^ this thread has a list of the ports that need to be open, maybe it is a network problem  |

You need to set the flag in the compatibility tab of the bfbc-exe
Close steam and launch it with a right click -> launch as admin
