I'll get this when I get a new computer. But I'm not playing it through on Veteran again. I hated the first one on Veteran. Having to reload from checkpoint every forty seconds kills immersion.
I will probably become hopelessly into the multiplayer though.

I also had problems on the sniper mission, just a stupidly designed level. The only way you can do it on hardest is camp certain spots, which ok is like a sniper or something but gunning down a whole regiment charging you with dogs is not like a sniper. I don't care how badassed they think they are.
The multiplayer I found is addictive for awhile but totally boring now. Once you've leveled up (or haven't like me). Its like whats the point in playing now? Woo I have reached level 55 with every other jerk so now I get to play the game on an equal footing? And servers that kick for using last stand piss me off. Its a legitimate part of the game that those twitch kiddie morons can't deal with and it must be an exploit because it stopped them headshotting some guy with their pistol at max range.

The first game was a *lot* of fun....I'm pretty sure it's one of the must-have games for the 360...hence why the 2nd has got so much hype...
I played it quite a lot online until I lost all my progress and had my stats reset to level 1 and kinda never got around to playing it again.
The single player is excellent war porn with great graphics.
I'll be buying when it's a little cheaper (bought toooo many games recently)

I've been playing a lot of CoD World at War multiplayer recently, a combination of it being a tenner in a sale and having a couple of mates being VERY into it. Pretty good fun if you get a good custom class playstyle going. I'll probably pick up MW2 eventually, but not till it goes down in price a fair amount.

Where'd you find World at War for a tenner? It's not a massively great game (no british for a start, along with some supposedly terrible sp levels...) but would be worth a play through for some rough and ready entertainment shooting nazis.  |

Got WaW in a Steam sale a while back (like, a couple of months ago, but it wouldn't run on my laptop at home). It's not TF2's multiplayer excellence, but like John said they're a nice distraction occasionally.
Also you can kill someone by throwing a grenade at them hard enough to finish them off by sheer impact. That's awesome.

accutly there addressing that, by allowing you have a counter to choopers and airstrikes as your bounes rather than acuttly haveing them, for example you can equipe a UAV jammer which counters there UAV which i tihnk is awsome should stop a lot of spam |

UAV jammer perk is in the first game. I take it for stealth mode. I like shooting down choppas, but sometimes you have completely the wrong kit for it.

Yeah you could always shoot down choppers and uav Jam.
Was never any real defense against airstrikes though.
