*sigh* Played an hour, did 4 collect random item quests, no quest to kill things yet, shitty story elements and characters with retcond personalities. Proper bullshit, don't even think about getting it, its really really really fucking bad.
Also, the leveling patch/cap increase hasn't hit yet, so I'm back to 1-shotting everything and being bored. I'll finish it, just because I've bought it, but not until the leveling patch hits. Then I'm unistalling it forever.

edit - FFFFFFFFFFFF, patch is coming out in October. At some point. Fuck this game, I'm done with it.

Hzza, most of us who were ever into this game, were done with it a LONG time ago... around about the time the first dlc came out.. when we'd completed it and realised that there's nothing "new" coming... you wasted your life

I sometimes day dream about playing it through on singleplayer just so I can finish it. Never played a new game less.

To be fair, I did get my moneys worth out of the main game, I'm just sick of Gearbox churning out shitty DLC's before fixing some of the core problems that have been there since release and their general crap attitude towards fixing the anoying problems that they make with every freaking patch they put out.

edit - Also, the same quests  you do in the main game, you do here; "find x number of y's to repair z", "bring me inordinate ammount of x for a shitty gun and meager experience points" and so on. Sure they've reskinned some of the enemies and the numbers on the weapon cards are bigger, but still, there is fucking nothing inovative about this bullshit.

I guess you're probably right. I'm just pissed off that its taken me this long to realise; maybe this PoS DLC has pulled back the curtain and shown me the stupid, wrinkled little turd pulling switches back there.

Either way, its going to be a long time before Gearbox get any more of my money.

I have to admit as enthusiastic about borderlands as i have been its starting to get very old and repetitive very fast now. Hell i actually enjoyed playing mw2 more last night and ive not played that in ages.
