admittedly the main story is appalling badly told and all the side quests are cliches but I like to have some idea about whats supposed to be happening even if i just use that knowledge to ridicule the story later.

Sometimes "Text" flashes up on the screen, and if you accidentally fail to press enter to move it away you might find yourself "reading it" instead of "killing mobs" and "Getting loot"

talking about text flashing on the screen i miss all the stupid message about you've done such and such a challenge or your proficiency in a weapon went up, you leveled up, some random quest your teammates finished round a corner is over. Or I do read them and let some skag chew on my leg

the car is basically a warthog, they compared it to one saying you know in halo you cant switch seats well you can in ours. If someone had banned the gearbox staff from playing shit like Halo3 iuno maybe the game would have been better. But then again they like Halo3 so I think they were doomed to make something competant but not quite amazing from the start.
