junta it is an rpgfps with coop. up to 4 people can play in the same game and all get xp and new guns. Genres are so merged today that you end up with long names describing each individual genre  . soon it will become mmorpgfpsrtsaction |

I was totally sold on this game... til the gameplay trailers... now with the delay, uni and other games coming out soon I'm going to give it a miss.
Just looks... I dunno... inexplicably this-could-get-boring-very-quickly. I really don't like games that put in a levelling system just to give you something to do, rather than to develop a character.
Then again I'm the man who doesn't like HL2 and hates L4D, so what do I know?

Funnily enough I find Diablo is a silly enough game to be quite fun for a while. Which, I know, breaks all my judgement-rules. As far as levelling is concerned in games, I think Deus Ex (the first) had it down when it comes to working a skill/level/power system into a game while not making it intrusive (or illogical). That's the one thing that bothers me about Arkham Asylum... the 'upgrades' and the somewhat Deus Ex Machina moment with the jet in the middle... </derail> Borderlands just doesn't look like it would appeal to me, that's all. I think I'd have to get a demo and actually play it or borrow it before commiting because the concept doesn't grab me. |

Would l4d look life fun if you were on your own and never had to fight any special infected?
Chillax, the fun is going to be had in the boss instances and the sweet guns you will find.
