And back to the airshot topic, the first hurdle to get over is starting to actually attempt them. When you have been waiting for players to hit the floor for 2 years of playing it can be hard to get out of that routine. Keep reminding yourself to go for them and you'll soon find that they aren't that difficult. Oh and Brahms there is no way your reaction time isn't good enough for airshots

I normally choke on them tbh.
Is this video saying to drop vertical sensitivity? I've always been scared about adjusting my x and y separately.

Nah, in that part he was just talking about how high sens soldiers don't have much trouble with the x axis but struggle with the y axis.

Low sens wins for everything This. Also, I've been playing a bit more solly recently and tbh, airshots really aren't all that difficult once you start going for them. I've got a couple where I've even suprised myself; my view is, if you swing and miss, whip out the shotgun and finish them off that way, if you swing and hit, taunt.

Re: sens I just turned mine down loads to see if it makes a difference, and I much much prefer it for Scout, and just generally. But I've completely lost the ability to rocketjump because I've lost the action... if I do what I used to do, I now shoot a rocket sort of near-ish the ground just to my side, rather than where I want it to go.
Guess I'll just have to get used to it.

Lower sens makes everything odd for a while, but once you do it enough it becomes normal again.

Do that and learn to air straife to go where you want to go i.e. in the air, hold right straife and turn mouse right (left and left for left obviously )
