that should be plenty for you mate  although the newer ATI 5XXX series comes out in a couple of months!!! I maybe would have recomended you waited a little.. apparently the 5850 is gonna be less than £100  |

I'm that bloke Jordan, who always gets his "bargain" just after its come out and just before something better gets there I accepted a long time ago that my timing is crap in the gadget world..  I tend wait too long (waiting for a balance on price and performance) or dive straight in (pay too much). lol If I were mega filthy rich I'd be paying someone like you to keep my rig(s) up to date for me |

Wow.. this card is damn good... Frame rates are much higher (and with better quality settings set for TF2) - I'm getting 150+ fps even up to 200+ in some places. Temps are excellent too, my old 3850 idled at 50 degrees and rose to 90 under load. This new card idles at 30 and gets to 60 tops. Very good. Impressed for the money.. awesome |

sounds very nice mate very good to know that the 47XX cards are worth a look.. could you let me know your settings? would be interesting also.. try bumping them up a bit as anything over 60 is useless unless you have one of those new nvidia 3D monitors that can do 120hz |

Interesting Chaos I currently have an Nvidia 8800 ultra, but am getting the dreaded driver stopped responding but has recovered issue (TF pauses while it happens lol). Can you recommend a better but good bang for buck card... |

Reviews are saying as much.. |

Can you recommend a better but good bang for buck card... Well depending on what Juntas settings are his card looks good.. but what mobo do you have? if its an nVidia board, get an nVidia card.. I recomend the 9800GTX (now known as the GTX250) or if you can find a 9800GX2 for a good price thats a very good card to go with If you have an intel board, go for an ATI card like the 4850.. thats currently the best bang per buck card out there untill the new ATI 5 series comes out soon |
