Yeah, since I have the PC version along with the Xbox 360 version, I thought I would have a foolproof plan. You see, I can only use the PC version on a certain PC, since my ordinary one runs faster than a seventy-year-old women with a wooden leg.

So my friend calls me (it's his computer and such) and tells me the power pack has blown a fuse and the rest of the computer is, to be put simply, fried. Therefore, it will be a few weeks (maybe even more) until it is running again or until he gets a new one as will be more likely.

"Fine, I'll just go get my Xbox." But oh dear, the Orange Box disc is missing. Several minutes of searching later, I find it and look at the back of it. Scratches, scratches, scratches. I attempt to play it, but it seems the Xbox will explode if I try again. I'm still unsure why I found it on the floor.

So it seems I'm depraved of TF2 for a while. I'm going to get a replacement copy of the Orange Box at my local store (I also get small discounts every now and then since I'm an official 'valued customer'). As for the computer... Well, I might not be on the server for some time.

Ah well. I can still visit this forum and make jokes about Junta being easy to backstab. Good times ahead, I hope.

Apologies on the double post.

For the PC, my friend has now ordered a new computer that he hopes will be even better than the previous one. Hello there, High settings. I'm still limited to the whole weekend affair, but I might be able to get pass eventually in a few months or so. Deal with it.

As for the Xbox 360, I've ordered a copy from eBay for a good price. My local game store seems to be running into some difficulties with management, so they're shut for a bit. Ah well, I can wait a little bit.

I now have a repaired copy of the Orange Box. Oh, jubilation. The gamertag is WaddlePenguin. Of course, I don't expect any of you to have the Xbox version, but we never know.

As for the PC, the new gaming one will be up and running next weekend (hopefully) and while my ordinary one is being repaired (unfortunately, not upgraded to suit Team Fortress T_T), I'll be having a laptop in the meantime. Who knows, it might run it well and with a plug-in mouse, I might be on all week with some luck.

We'll see how things 'gel over'.
