We've (or rather Deadly) has added more information about our Gaming nights to the front page (now Friday and Sunday). Before it just left people guessing!

Also a nobby little viewer linked to the Mumble server has appeared. We'll have to see if we can maintain it once the dedicated server goes; have to check on compatibility with non-multiplay servers (if anyone knows, do tell)

I'm also going to do a bit of forum pruning as some of the stickied threads are ancient.

If anyone has any further suggestions to improve the forum, do say.

Actually, yes, here is a suggestion. Please put the "New posts" tab before the mumble tab. It's more likely I want to see if it's worth it clicking on the Forum link than to see if anyone is on mumble.

You are right, it looks weird now, must've been different before. Maybe make it Server/Streams/Forum/Mumble? I'd hate to miss action on the server due to it being that low. It's not even on my page without scrolling.

I kinda like the current setup. Cleanly laid out and such.
You can often tell if the server is active by a glance at steam's friends list anyway.

My thoughts (since I'm the one that did it) - I kinda realised that you'd only see the 'unread posts since last visit' if you're registered and logged in and is probably the most useful thing on the homepage for me. The streams box is pretty small so that can sit at the top fairly happily.

I was also thinking about maybe changing the 'unread posts since last visit' to only show 5 posts instead thus making that a bit smaller and to have more chance of seeing the the mumble/server block.

It was a bit of a tough call to put the server at the bottom but I figured with us being a bit more 'multi-game'/community orientated that it might fit better - I'd generally be more interested in who's in mumble than on the server.

Well since there seems to be a slight difference of preference, maybe have it on a rotation. Could you animate it in some way Deadly, so it slowly rotates up as you look at it?
