Wondered if there was any interest in trying to get some double mixes going? Think most people have now had some level of 6v6 match play so understand what is going on and might like to play a bit where its just for fun?

Whilst I know there are already groups that offer this kinda thing (think Fraac has one) I figure it might be more fun if it was mainly WDG+regs+friends (anyone welcome)?

If I get some interest here I'll setup a closed (or open!?) group from which it will be easier to issue notifications when people fancy a game. If you wanted to play you would join mumble and its first come first served till we have 12 - but then can swap people after each map so everyone gets to play if we have more than 12. Could even do 9v9 if we had enough.

Usual system is 2 people agree to go medic and so become team captains. They have a fight to decide (or just agree) who gets first pick - then the other captain picks 2 - then alternate 2 picks.

Main thing is to be somewhat flexible as to class and not take it too seriously. Teams can be chopped and changed if unbalanced.

Could maybe target a night (or two) a week where we try and get some games in with the others being whenever people fancy it.

I'd be interested. I reckon others would be too if it was just for lulz. We had an impromptu mix at about 1am the other weekend with some of the highlander crowd and it was fun.

fraac has closed his newbie mix group and changed it to a not so newbie mix group; it's invite only now and aimed at Div 5ish and above

I'd be up for it, If you want me, I know I'll only pull the team down, Hey i can be given to the team that's winning to make them loose. Would it have item whitelists and that, I think it's be pretty fun to see what happens without one.

Huh had kinda given this up for dead. Looks like we have about the right number (few of FNR! are interested) to give this a try.
