...is now on Steam as of today: http://store.steampowered.com/app/231200/ (They even sent me a key allthough I bought it off their website a month ago, pretty cool).

Right now its abit of a gamble of whether or not you'll get your moneys worth. Theres one episode out as of now, the next one is coming in March most likely. The first act is only an hour long (unless you go for every detail) and is very vague, but right now it has a cool "LOST-Feelin" to it. Im really excited for the next releases, it has a purrdy look and cool transitions inbetween landscapes and interesting narrative.

Second act got released last night. I loved it! Was amazed by their constant variation of narrative perspective and form of interaction, every scene felt so unique. I really like the way they bring in interaction, you often get the chance to change plotelements in indirect ways but its unlike anything Ive ever seen in adventure games. Some great moments in this, shame its so short again, I cant wait for the next one. Its not quite in worth-the-pricetag-territory yet imo, but Ill still recommend it if you dig the artstyle.

Yeah If I didnt have already played the first one I probably would have done the same. So far both acts have ended on such a dumb cliffhanger, when I finished 2 this morning and in the middle of a scene it faded to black and "END OF ACT II" appeared I got really mad. But I just cant wait anymore now, it got me hooked. Waiting for a complete set would definitely be the more healthy option for your sanity

But like I said if the artstyle really interests you Id recommend checkin it out already, there are some fantastic moments in 2 where they play with perspective deceiving, really impressive for a two-man team

I assume that there's no danger of the studio folding halfway thorough. That's my main concern.

That stays questionable actually, they have delayed this 2nd episode by 2 months and said it would come out mid april and havent really responded to queries since then. In the newsletter they sent around yesterday they mentioned reflecting on the development of act 2 soon, so I assume there were some issues. From a salespoint of view I think they already sold alot of season passes to be able to fund development. Theyre gettin good critics from RPS, Pcgamer aswell so people are startin to get aware of it.

3rd episode finally came out last night. It's... very dreamy! But worth the wait, so many interesting moments, still no big reveal what kind of David Lynch shit is going on, but they've set it up for one that could be cuhrazy!

I hope they don't make me wait another 11 months

The song that plays during the barperformance where the building literally dematerializes above the stage has been stuck with me this entire day, it's so good. There's been so many memorable setpieces, this episode has been a dramatic increase in quality over the already very good first two.

Might finally suck it up and buy this though, will watch out for it to go on flash sale in the humble store sale going on at the moment.

Episode 4 could basically be anything at this point, it could turn into a firstpersonshooter for all I know. Or Frog Fractions 2.
