Hey Berath pointed me in the direction of this thread, I'm looking to get into 6 v 6 play and am pretty new to it, only having played a few lobbys and mixes.

Mainly play as medic although can do a bit of soldier to and would definetley be up for this.

I tend to be free around 4 evenings a week and Sundays although the evenings can change as I work shifts.

Burnalot/Jebus, how well do you think you'll do in division 5? You have some of the best players I know and you crushed that one day cup.

From the mixes against teams who looked for a div 5 matchup I would say we would do alright, but keep in mind it's not really comparable with proper league matches where everyone is in serious business mode. And as for the one day cup, yeah that went well, but it was on a map that no one knew and we were in the lowest bracket of all.

I think we'll do pretty well. We're a new team but we've all played together for a long time in mixes / other teams etc. Just a trial run for this season I suppose.

To be honest I am not sure it will actually be that helpful for a number of reasons. I think you would be better of playing together against div 6 teams via mixes and have one or two of us sitting in mumble talking to you (e.g. have burny/power watching and talking to the scouts, with Lefty/me/mode etc watching and talking to the combo.) I think you can set it up so that only specific people can hear you which might help stop people talking over each other.

I think we also now have it setup so that we have a mumble channel delayed by 90sec so that you can watch us play via stv and hear our comms (which are far from perfect but may be useful!).

If there's any other way that WDG can help you guys out (mumble channel, server use, IRC etc.) then please let me or one of the other leaders know.

Obviously between the clan members and regulars we have quite a lot of experience of 6v6/competitive play so (as you've already experienced) there's plenty of help available.

I'm also available as a merc if required. It doesn't look like we have a formal 'WDG' team any more (I think Jebus & co. are FNR! and you guys are interested in starting a team).

Is this possible? This would be ideal, I agree. Also listening to your comms would be hugely helpful. Thanks for all this!

Deadly, Berath said we may as well register with etf2l and create a team profile, to get people focused. We could do that and add the WDG people who could play the odd game.

If you need any soldier or medic help, Id be up for mentoring (I guess Iondine was happy with what I taught him). This month Im pretty much available all the time, next month Ill probably have a very tight schedule due to uni starting.
