Yeah it looks good, but I find the failures of Borderlands 1 were not within the gameplay - it was fun. It was more in the systems around it, stuff like comparing inventory, completing quests solo and in coop mode and coop mode in general, broken mission markers if you picked up a piece of multistage-quest out of order and fucking gamespy. Waiting to see what changed there.

I felt the gunplay of borderlands was super boring. The insistence on gunstats made for a bad shooter experience. Dead island handles combat a million times better than borderlands. The melee there is satisfying and necessary, and the guns are good and powerful but ammo is pretty scarce unless you finish the game and pick up tons of crap to craft loads.
Borderlands is just like LOL dis is a super great gun, and then you use like 5 or more clips on a single enemy and nothing happens except you cover your screen in numbers.

Anyone else still up for splitting a 4pack?
I missed out on borderlands1 by getting a pirated version and therefore missing out on the multiplayer aspect, which kind of ruined it for me, lol. Would like to give the 2nd one a proper go with co-op.
