This situation in most other zombie games probably wouldn't let you see the actual colour of the walls.

Its minimal to non existant, the only thing thats kinda gory is that when you bleed theres fountains of blood shooting out of your body.

It's buggy. One moment i'm crawling through fine, then suddenly my screen goes red, there's a sickening crack, the screen starts shaking and i'm losing blood fast. Span around in a panic thinking i was under attack, by the time I got to a safe place and bandaged up I'd lost about 3000 Blood (to put this in perspective a rare and precious can of beans will heal about 300 blood)
I've got a bag for a blood transfusion that would fix me up, but this requires meeting up with a friendly player, which realistically means someone you know outside of the game. Announcing in general chat that you're injured and would like someone to meet you at a particular location is a quick way to lose your beans.

Barns and Deer Hides. Military bases if you're feeling brave.
Or just kill some poor bastard and take his. My current life has been awesome for that, second time i logged in I was right behind someone (nice spot overlooking a village) and got off to a great start (AK, loads of ammo, med stuff, nav equipment, food)

So, who's got it and who's still playing?

Trying to mount an epic rescue later today and I can do with as many friendlies as possible to make it happen. The gist:

Two of us in Stary Sobor during a lagfest finally escape a murderous hoarde, taking down a few bandits at the same time when a big spike hit. I end up face down in a barn with a broken leg. The other party member runs off to check out the medical tents and the 3 nearby deer stands, to try and get me some morphine. At deer stand #3, another broken leg. We stay logged whilst we recruit help.

Help arrives in the form of another group member who fetches 2 morphine and makes his way to Stary. On a server with 4 people, he runs into a bandit and he's currently bleeding to death and logged out with less than 200 blood. The good news is that he has the morphine.

The plan:

Sacrifice enroll a few more people to get to his corpse in Stary, liberate the morphine and hopefully heal the two broken legs.

We're going to try to get this organised tonight and save some lives. If anyone is set up and willing to help, drop me a line on steam. Not sure what time tonight, but I'm thinking past 10pm. I've currently got at least one other person from our current crew who may be able to make it, as well as a new starter who hasn't even touched the game yet.

What I can promise:

If this rescue succeeds, we WILL kill a cow and have steak.

That is all.
