Ive recently bought Anno 2070 and, even though im not a big RTS fan, i have to say that its absolutely a magnificent game. The level of detail is unbelievable and the gameplay is really smooth.
I have to say its a pretty hard game because of the huge depth-level. And after having played 6 hours I cant help but feel that i have yet to scratch the surface of the gameplay depth (both single and multiplayer).
So i was wondering, does anyone else have this game?

I was interested in this when it was released as something to fill the sim/rts/management games gap since finishing Tropico 4. I played it at i44 briefly but wasn't interested enough to drop cash on it yet - waiting for it to appear in a heavily discounted sale

i really really abhor ubisoft current pc decisions and will be giving this one this miss due to it....
which is a shame as i think this looks like a fantastic game.

I've also been getting rather disgusted with ubisoft recently but I just can't pass up a Bluebyte title (though I can wait patiently for it to be cheaper :p)

man ubi suck. I bought this in xmas sale and its pretty good. But the complete pack does not include the deluxe edition and theres no upgrade option. Now its on sale this weekend and they made a complete dlc pack and the whole game is now £12+£6, or £14+£6 for the deluxe. Great for anyone who is still waiting to buy it but I still can't upgrade to deluxe. Also they are still selling the crappy complete pack for £25 and thats not on sale ugh I hate when they do that. Also the complete pack is cheaper than the base game at full price now?
Overall my recommendation is buy it, just rememeber theres a somewhat hidden fast forward time function, and also that ubi suck and don't get fooled by their dumb pricing. I would say this weekends prices are cheap enough for a fan of this kind of strategy game.

oh come on. The dlc complete pack isn't complete. Its missing deep ocean. Wow ubisoft. They are seriously going out of their way to mislead here. Complete pack has deep ocean but is bundled with non-deluxe.

Not sure if it's money-grabbing or just retarded marketing department.

The game is quite good even without the DLC.
Still has enough to keep you going for a bit, no?

*Throws money at screen*
Realises that:
a) Throwing money at screen does not work. b) I don't have time to play this.

deep ocean is the most important dlc, pretty decent expansion. you probably don't need the rest, a lot of them are just unlock stuff from the world events without doing the event. The slightly more expensive ones are either in-game decorations or scenarios.
