Raided for around 16 hours a week on average, usually around the 22 mark with overtime in WoW.

Damn dont get me started on this. During The Burning Crusade I was raiding nonstop, 2007 and 2008 were probably the 2 most antisocial years I ever had in my life, raiding 5 hours each night, 5 days a week. When WotLK came out I "luckily" wasnt holding up to my guilds standards and eventually didnt raid with them anymore (mainly because I started playing competitive TF2), thank god Im done with that. Hardcoreraiding in WoW is one of the most timeconsuming things ever especially if youre the maintank (Black Temple, oh goddd). Im never gonna dedicate myself to an MMO that much again.

That being said, Im signed up for this beta, but even when the game comes out Im gonna take it slowly

But yeah, I kinda see the appeal in doing something similar, but nowhere like what I used to do.

Whilst it's a fantastic time sink (and I saved a fuck ton of money during first year of uni), doubt I'll be at it again either. It wasn't the amount of time really, I play that much anyway, it was the fact that it had to be uninterrupted.

Either way, as I have stated a fair few people from my old WoW guild have also registered a deep interest in this game, I unofficially put the idea forwards as to whether or not they'd appreciate forming with a good 7-8 people from a TF2 community and they were fine with it, one of them has done the same and gotten 10 or so people from another community he's involved with.

If you guys fancy it, we'd potentially have an active starting guild of around the 25 mark, which undoubtedly would make things smoother and more socially active upon launch.
