I still think that the server could be a little more full than it is at times. As soon as you post community events, the server fills up a little more. To that end, it seems like a good idea to give some of the more active TF2 players the ability to advertise community events?
While I agree that there is an obvious correlation between community events and traffic, I'm afraid if we started widening control they might be put on a bit too often and annoy people away from the community group. That said, as stated previously, we are happy to post a notice if you drop us a message on Steam (which applies not just to TF2). I do try to be available on Steam even when not available to play, so please do ask.  Also in regards to server config, the advertising plugin is still pimping things like the crit plugin, although they aren't active.

Will do At a guess, we may need less group announcements anyway as time goes on and be able to rely more on our Friends list. We can start to add the people who come on the Server after invites and focus on them when we want to get games going. |

It doesn't seem to be clearing up afkers any time soon and without an admin it's starting to get annoying with some quickplay joiners going AFK as soon as they've joined a team, it's making team balance an issue on occasion.

I was about to post the same thing. Its annoying to have a full server but about 3 players being afk and filling slots that could be used a lot better. Overall I've had another great evening on the server. I believe its still full/partly full atm! Might be nice to have more admins on once every so often, but otherwise the server seems to be alive again Ooh, is it an option to give some of the regular WDG members limited admin options or something? Might be usefull as Ive had a few games tonight that were really unbalanced, but not unbalanced enough k/d wise to enable the auto scramble. |

Shall take a look at the AFK issue. Just bear in mind that we've had complaints in the past about over-zealous AFK kicking mechanisms, so we may need to experiment a bit to find the right balance. Remember that vote scramble is still available in the case of unbalanced teams. |
