It should only ever ask you once - the first time you connect to the server and never ask you again and then it remembers your preference for every time you join after that.

It calculates the results 30 seconds into the map based on who is connected - even if you're still in spec.

Also - I'm limited to the functionality of the plugin. There are two crit related plugins available, one runs a vote every map change (which isn't ideal) and the other is the one we're using which is a set-and-forget

I know deadly is going to go 'god, I can't win' but I think there's almost too much choice at the moment. Crits on or off, map votes, nominations, etc. Personally I'd prefer crit settings be a global thing - let's either have it on or off, rather than toggling around all the time. IMO, last night was kinda over the top with team scrambles and nominates and so on. Relying on admin discretion sometimes works better than giving the people ultimate choice.

Just an opinion from a non clanner, no offence intended.

claws, most of the stuff you mentioned is completely optional. feel free to ignore it. Smiley
crit switching is still being tested, but IMHO it seems to be working reasonably well so far.
and yes, I agree the the broken scrambler on hydro was a bit of a pain, but funnily so. Wink
