It's made my life easier at least. Trading for games was always scary for people, so I'd spend hours middlemaning as people swapped games for tf2 items.
And 9+ items in a trade window? Epic

Now all people need middlemen for is this origin bf3 crap and items for cash

The ability to group friends in the list now is also really cool, makes finding the right people for mixing/playing certain games much easier.
