Dunno if you guys have thought about this but was something I had thought about setting up with PnS but never got round to.
The point being that I am guessing a lot of people on here spend money on Amazon (just did a search for Amazon and there are pages of links on the forum). So... if WDG set up an affiliate account (takes about 5 min) and added a link on the site somewhere, all you would have to do is click that link to take you to Amazon, buy whatever you wanted to buy and WDG earns 5%. Considering I personally spend at least around £20-50 a month on there that would be £1-£2.50 from me alone. Plus it works across all the stores so not limited to UK.
Maybe worth looking into?

Yeh there are affiliate programs for most retailers (Play.com etc) but most of them require you to sign up with a network and all gets a bit complicated. Amazon is far more ubiquitous and there system is much simpler to deal with.

Nooo....  (*slinks away back to Amazon HQ*) Lol nah I have just used affiliate programs on a number of sites I've built and found Amazon to be the best. Given that clans rely on cash to keep things going its a pretty nifty way of letting everyone to contribute without it actually costing them anything Did I mention how great Amazon are and how you should all buy stuff from them?  |
