I always had to laugh at that Blumchen video. I mean, singing to playback on "live" gigs is a given for this kind of music, but when you make a video and it is fucking obvious that not only do you just open your mouth to the music, but can't even keep up with the text... geez.
EDIT: Actually, on rewatching the video it even looks like she isn't even singing the same text, but has been synchronized in a different language or something. Qualitiy production!

Okay to contribute: I'm not even sure it can be categorized as dubstep, but I would make a nice dubstep track if thrown into a couple of sound destruction units and filters: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MFwTS3co9HE (that is also the tune I was talking about in one of our mixes, from the animatrix soundtrack! of course I had the name completely wrong) Very long intro, but worth it

Oh how I hated that tune.... isn't that the general idea of dubstep?

No I actually like many of those tunes. I just don't like those who are either a 10 second loop repeated 50 times or who take a basic melody, than gangrape it to play every note with a different "instrument" while making every one of those instruments sound like a blown up speaker.
I feel very mainstream for saying this, but Propane nightmares by Pendulum is an example for good dubstep in my book. Is it even dubstep?

Nope, it's not really drum n bass either. Dubstep is kinda an evolution from Drum n bass, but more unpredictable if that makes sense, and more filthy. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0xEmoThFsQA
