If I had to predict the future I'd have to let my imagination loose. And befor you know it, I'll be going on about the 5th holy war that was started by radical fruit abusing giraffs with jet packs. But in all honesty I'd say keep an eye on the Morman Sparrows.



So what do I think 2011 holds?

I think I may actually get my arse in to gear and do the video for the 2010 Anual Rodgering Video by the end of 2011.

I might finaly figure out what I'm doing and spend some time changing the properties, or re-recoding the 175 sound files for the TF2 Announcer.

There will be the WDG Anual Rodgering 2011.

I'll end up doing the videos for both 2010 & 2011 Anual Rodgering at the same time.

My employment will continue to have the menacing clouds of uncertanty loitering on the horizion. But then again that's probably true for everyone in these uncertain times.

Hopefully 2011 will be a lot of fun.

Mankind will continue to make increadble discoveries and advances for the betterment of the world.

Robin Walker will include a 500MB Troll Face image in an update (making it the main menu background image) and see the excitement of SPUF users only to realise it was the first and a number of "troll updates" TF2 will implement.

After "owning" another server with his brother playing pocket Medic (sorry wrong term, "I'll heal you and only you" Medic), Druss writes another article on Ubercharged discussing that Heavy requires a lot of skill and using fancy terms like "spin-up jump" and "trolololol" before going on that Demoman requires no skill (especially aiming pipes) and that nothing (not even Scouts) counters him. The article will get 150 comments, three times as many as an article previously featured on the blog by a more respected writer which discussed at length the new weapons and how they will impact the game, from people either saying it's rubbish/poorly written/wrong and he'll one comment address these views most likely containing "NO U WRONG" before answering comments by users who agree with the article. Although these are probably just puppet accounts he's made to create an illusion that people actually like him.

Leftism will:
- Run through 59 sticky traps next year.
- Get run over by 27 trains.
- Drop 31 Ubers.
- Go one game where his team doesn't blame him when something goes wrong. (Because he didn't play that particular match. )

Now for some serious predictions about games I look forward to:

Bullet Storm will be good, but short and get repetitive towards the end. Haters will hate it because it's too simple to just gun through if you ignore points.
Deus Ex: Human Revolution will be pretty good, but winning it just via talking is not an option, so it's shunned for no being as open as the original.
Crysis 2 will by graphic porn with a bad story.
Brink will be too new and different, only attracting a small hardcore community. (I really hope I'm wrong on this one)
Rage will be graphic porn but lack gameplay.
Batman: Arkham City will be good, but not reach Arkham Asylum.
Duke Nukem Forever will be good, but simple and won't make every other game - past,present and future - obsolete, so it will be labelled disappointing. Fans will spend ages discussing if 3D Realms, changed times or Gearbox is to blame.
Mass Effect 3 will find a nice middle ground between ME1 and ME2 gameplay wise, but will be weaker in story.
Ever MMO, including SWTOR: will have a bad launch, falling subscriptions every month and never ever get close to WoW; fans blame bad marketing and horrible launch
Planetside Next (aka 2) (Good chances not released in 2011): Great it scale, bad in gameplay. Fans accuse makers of "missing the point of/not getting Planetside".
Portal 2: Another great game, not the revelation of Portal 1, disappointing on a VERY high level. Also it will unlock 6 hours too late.
Episode 3: NO!
Dota 2: Yet another dota clone with little new stuff. Valve gets a accused of becoming more and more of a sellout

Don't think I can argue with any of that Cruel, except you've understated just how bad Crysis 2 will be .

Basically my preditctions are that all the sequals that get released will be a disapointment to long term fans of the respective series' but newcomers will love them, and that the new IPs will be average, with some good ideas but people will ultimately be disapointed and anticipate their sequals in hope they fix the issues inherent in the first game.

Portal 2 for GotY, Duke Nukem Forever will get a rushed release at Christmas and be as just bad as everyone thinks it will.
