you need to drag their corpse out of town, yes its griefing if they do it just to fuck you over but you can dispose of them.

And the griefing in these social games is part of the fun, you just have to know to deal with the idiots.

Same thing as UD, but it seems actually to be encouraged in this one (no one cared in UD either, though). I've yet to understand the difference between the both games, to be honest.

UD was (is still, apparently) one big world with all the players in, whereas this is broken down into many 40-person shards, and the extent of the outside world is a 14x14 grid unique to your town. Also there are no player zombies, and no hope- you will die, and there's nothing you can do about it before or after it happens. It means the social aspect is very different, with no established groups and more focus on community politics- leaders and pariahs. Also, while certain anti-social moves are perfectly legit, people joining just to die straight away is just straight up griefing.

I am now on my third world, having managed to survive only one night so far. Should survive tonight though.

Game is frustrating as it looks like a lot of people are idiots!! Will stick it out for a bit longer though

My town didn't close the gates on the 2nd night  98 Zombies got in and we were left with only 3 survivors out of 30.
And that was after a crap 1st night where lots of idiots got themselves stuck outside.
I died too inside my souped up hovel (on the verge of being shunned for nicking an extra plank!)

My town's doing pretty alright- we're up to day 5 and we've only lost 12, and they were mostly dead weight who were either outside the walls or infected through chomping meaty bones (although we lost our town junkie, who was a pretty good asset). We haven't actually had any zombies inside the town so far. Having said that, zombie numbers have just doubled to ~170, so it's going to be a painful night.

Has anyone else tried to upload an avatar? I tried in chrome and it gives me the file chooser box, then it just goes green and flash crashes.

Don't get anything in firefox or IE.

Nevermind - I figured it out. Also rallied my town to survive a second night

I somehow survived a second night as a homeless bum before splashing out on a tent. It was quickly upgraded to a hovel using ''borrowed'' materials after noticing that several others had done the same.

13 people have died so far and the next night looks rather grim, given the lack of defence improvements.

We survived the first 2 nights pretty well - but it looks like we have so many inactives in our town that we're probably screwed. Those of us that are active seem pretty keen to try and do well - although it's day 3 and we still don't have a workshop so might not make it through tonight.

lols. My first town was like that, its all the people signing up because of the out of beta announcement and then not actually playing. My new town we had workshop on day 1. Weve got about 160 zombies attacking tonight. Should just about get the defences up in time. Only problem we are having is 15 already died from infection and getting stuck outside so our aps are dwindling. Conversely though we are already out of food for now and low on water, wed be out of water if those people were still alive.
