Don't know about everyone else, but this game looks like a fairly entertainly attempt at a "hardcore" multiplayer FPS

Welcome to Red Orchestra. Im laying off the WW2 based games until DoD:s 2 or whatever comes out when the HL3 engine's developed (if).

Can quite happilly say some of the best gaming times of my life came from going semi-pro at that game.

Pre order is up come on guys lets do this. Disco I spoke to a guy at work who's on the battlefield 3 beta he said he played the metro map on 32 players and it had one tank. Not even a tank. An APC.

Loved the first one, played it like religiously for a while, became a bit of a tank beast (like, I could hit a the ammo compartment (which is generally a insta-explosion) on a tank from 1-1.5km away :3), only issue I had was tanks actually require solid teamwork (unlike BF, where the first person in gets to drive and shoot the main cannon, one person drives, one person is commander/gunner, and if there's space another is an additional MGer. Also worth mentioning, the driver has a pretty shit view, so can only see through a small slit what's directly ahead, so relies on the commander to spot stuff and tell him where to go etc. (Both can get a better view by opening a hatch and poking their head out, but you can be shot by infantry when doing so). Now I used to just play on my own joining pub servers, this inevitably resulted in getting into a tank with a complete nonce, who either couldn't shoot, or just couldn't drive. So playing with some co-ordination will be pretty sweet :3

TL;DR I'M PRE-ORDERING THIS SHIT!

Also, yeah, i'm planning to ride with Disco TONIGHT in RO1 so if anyone else is around, (especially people who might already know how to play...) that woould be cool.
