So, earlier on my TF2 decided to change from Dx Level 8 where I got a solid 100fps, to Dx Level 9 where I get a between 10 and 40. I've tried everything I can think of but can't get it to change back, so need your halp Cheesy.

My launch options are below and I haven't changed anything in them recently. Also, I'm using Chris Moreframes cfg I think (the one that makes TF2 look a bit like Minecraft).
-dxlevel 80 -sw -w 1920 -h 1200 -console -noborder -nojoy -noipx -novid -noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd

remove the following commands "-noforcemaccel -noforcemparms -noforcemspd"

Won't fix your issues but will help with mouse consistancy

I wonder if DXSupport was altered in the last release?

Maybe some of the graphics options you use now are tied to DX9 or greater?

I'd try manually disabling your script, and just seeing if you can use the in-game settings menu to get back to DX8. If so, you will know what setting is forcing DX9 to be used.
