Finished it as well.

Turned out good in the end. Manly tears were shed, though not as much as Season 1's end. My playthrough was pretty much like Ringel's except I shot Kenny with hesitation, hoping . I was freaking pissed at Jane at the end because her was plan was absolutely stupid. It's ironic that she's the one telling you that people eventually break due to selfish reasons... and that happens to her at the end.

Tried to save Luke. Probably more depressing as you watch him get dragged to the depths by a zombie.
Killed Kenny - got really sick of him and didn't want him even after Episode 3. As with Sarah, I wanted an excuse to kill him as he just frustrated me.
Turned other people away at the end. Smaller groups are better

Reading The Walking Dead wiki, I'm really interested in how they pull off Season 3 considering that there are five different endings.

on lukes ending: I shot walkers, than that redhead was going to save him and they both broke through the ice. You hear a thumping from a place below the ice and than you can try to crush it, but it takes too long and by the time you are breaking through the ice and drop into the lake he is already dead drifting next to you in the cold water with an desperate glare in his eyes. than you get pulled out of the water by jane. So it was kinda depressing too

i let her stay, because i made up my mind in the car already to stick to her. She is after all pretty useful and realistic about most situations andI didnt want to stay alone with the baby.

I already went off on a tangent with Torgue the other day but Im really pissed that both these games dont have cloud support and then they decide to not let you create a save for season 2. Had to search on the internet for about an hour till I found an uploaded one that atleast vaguely reflected my choices from the first game.

Overall, I really liked Season 2 it had its strong moments and the bigger budget was clearly visible, a lot more technical improvements to increase the cinematic feel. Its still the same linear thing where you get the occasional QTE which was kind of a disappointment.

I thought the ending was pretty weak. Kenny as a character got more and more unbelievable for me after Episode 3 to a point where I didnt care for him anymore so to make the climax of that season be centered around him was a bad gamble. I kinda wished he wouldnt have returned, there were so many well-written characters in this season like Sarah, Bonnie, Rebecca and Luke/Nick, Kenny always felt kind of disruptive to establishing their characters. It felt like poor fanservice to bring him back, they tried to make him into the weird traumatic guy like post-Duck death in season 1 again but the stakes were so much lower for him in this, I didnt for example buy into the whole angle with him and the mexican woman, so him losing her shouldnt have affected him so much imo. After that it just went straight downhill with him as a character for me...

Long story short, I liked it, the ending was lackluster and the cliffhanger at the end (I chose shot Kenny / abandon Jane) was superlame. My favorite episode was 4. Despite all the Kenny stuff, a lot of character angles were formed and the Sarah death caught me offguard, I was in shock when that happened, she was easily the saddest and most mystical character in the whole series, I was expecting her to play a part in the end.

Also still having shivers thinking about those last moments in episode 3 and the cliffhanger/test of courage you have to go through. A good example of their improved cinematic skills.

Also: How the fuck did nobody die in the shoot out at the beginning? You're surrounded by people aiming guns at you point blank and nobody dies? WTF

That "flashback" was really nice though, even though it referred to a different timeline than mine :/

Overall, I gotta say I liked the first one more, but that might be rose tinted glasses.

If you forgive Jane, you'll get two possible endings. You return to Carver's store/warehouse and find supplies. As you're checking them out, a family approaches and asks you to let them in. You can let them in or turn them away.

If you forgive Kenny, you'll also get two possible endings. You find Wellington and it turns to out be a safe haven, but it's overpopulated but Kenny pleads with their leader to let the kids in. You can choose to enter Wellington with AJ or stay with Kenny.

That's the thing I like about this season, that you can get five different endings. Which makes me wonder how they'll pull off Season 3. New characters, maybe?

Ah, sorry. I thought you got the ending where you didn't forgive her. Basically, you leave with AJ and try to make it on your own. The last scene is Clem walking through a field with AJ when she spots a walker herd. She kills one, covers herself and AJ with zombie guts and walk through the herd. Essentially, she becomes Jane. You get the same ending when you leave Kenny.
