Went through all episodes over the week, actually got through the last 2 only today because I was so hooked.

First of all, the narrative in this game is phenomenal. It does such a great job at building all these characters and then when the moment is right and you feel emotionally attached to them or atleast understand their personalities, let something happen to them may it be good or bad, but pretty much all the major events throughout the story hit me so hard, I was astonished at how good it has picked up after the rather meh first episode. The gameplay aspects were really well integrated, I havent seen such a good execution of QTEs in a long time, they were (almost) always contextual and enhanced the moment.

The ending of the season couldnt have been "better", it felt like a culmination of the relationship between Clem and Lee, everything you taught her during the outbreak was put to use and -eventually- ended in her shooting you to prevent you from turning (atleast thats what I chose). Eventhough there is a second season and Clems fate is still unknown (alot of "she will remember that" in your final dialogue!), it felt like a very good final end to the story of Lee. The one thing Id wished for is that there wouldve been some more context to his murder, you do tell the kidnapper in the end a lot, but other than that there was only the scene in the drugstore in ep1 where you went into detail. I DUN CARE BOUT DAT I JUS WAN FIND CLEMENTYNE

It was an amazing experience and I cant wait for season 2, but Ill probably do the same thing again and wait till they have released all the episodes (if they go for that "season pass"-model again) because I felt like playing all those back to back made it even better.

My favourites were Ep 3 and 5.

400 Days is amazing! I liked it even more than the maingame. All very simplistic short stories each with their different "theme" (horror, action, drama etc.), kinda like the "episodic" episode that every TV show has in its lifespan. I really recommend it!

Not to go into it too much but I can definitely see where the connection between season one and two can be drawn after finishing it. Its well worth the fiver if you cared about the game.

I thought it was an interesting experiment. My main complaint is that of the five stories, only two are rounded up nicely.
What do you think that the connection is, Karthus? That season 2
will be set in the survivor community mentioned in the last story and that Clem will be a part of it
?

I mean they openly said that this was supposed to be a bridge between season one and two so my guess is that we just saw how most of those characters ended up in that new community thatll probably play a big part in season two. I hope (and Im sure) itll transfer over how many in the end decided to come with Travia

I dunno I just really liked about 400 Days how they made each of the 5 short stories very unique in their own way and still kept the TWD game-esque tough decisionmoments in
I was so torn in Shels chapter when I had the choice between running away with my daughter or following the groupleaders orders and shoot my friend, shit was touuuugh
. Also
In Russels chapter if you decide to hide from the approaching truck, you actually get to see Doug/Carley's corpse depending on who you saved in episode 1 and then got shot by Lilly
