However, sadly I also have to smite you all for ignoring the premises laid out be my for the realities prevailing in my company (facepalm), so you get nothing
But I'm really happy for you that you all work for companies which are valuing their workers and put emphasis on efficiency.
I've taken Zarf's tip and used TiddlyWiki. It should serve well enough for our purposes. It looks quite professional to the layman's eye. Also it's easy enough that I can expand and maintain it (even though I know almost nothing of HTML and CSS, let alone JavaScript), but complicated enough to make me look skilled and competent in the eyes of my co-workers
