TBF Tommy, Ashley Young has had a crap season
Well admittedly he has been out done by James Milner this season and moved out of position by Downing but he's still be solid and always a threat. A faster Joe "I MUST ALWAYS SHOOT FROM DISTANCE" Cole I'd like to think. But SWP has only played 19 games this season compared to Young's 36. Also surprised Downing didn't get picked, means our only left footed midfielder is Gareth "Dirty traitor scum" Barry. |

They maybe young, but I always get the impression any German side could make it past the group stage. Does Christoph Metzelder still make the first team? I only remember him because I used to follow Dortmund back in those successful years. :-3 442 seem to be backing Spain for this one, although Brazil's solid defence (yes, that's right DEFENCE) should be able to challenge them. Still, whatever happens, North Korea are expected to win this year's WC by Kim Jong Il - which I found amusing to say the least. I have my suspicions the population of North Korea will only get to see the good bits, if any, of their country: For starters, live games won't be shown over there and apparently repeats of the games are aired way after the competition is over. : |
