Mine is hugely silly/embarassing...

There was an episode of Dick and Dom in da Bungalow when I was about 9 years old... they sang a song called:

The Sweary Song

Fairy hammock, chuff nuts, fluffy chuckle, potty pipes, ninny rag, wim wam, BOB- pig pants, flap crackers, granny sack, nallywacks, pong pot, clump, fudge, SCROGGAGE! Papa coits! Scampi pamphlets! Clock hangers, nanny nob nobs!.......Och, the relief!

(I got the lyrics off the internet, I didn't remember them for all this time Tongue)

Anyway the word SCROGGAGE particularly made me laugh and stuck in my memory, so when I came to play games online and needed a random alias... it kind of leapt to mind.
I kind of feel it's overused now though.. it's got to the point where I get called it in real life sometimes (I was introduced to BFM's Tree as Scroggage, due to both of us being called Will)

Usually my gaming tag online is telekineticpuma which originates from school many years back with a few of us naming email acounts like fibreglassmonkey and stuff like that. Since HAM was formed earlier this year i have used a HAM related name and i am called [HAM]Fisted mainly for the lulz but also because i am hamfisted in real life, a very clumbsy bastard!!!

My nickname is pretty simple, really.

One day, whilst trying to conjure up an online nickname for myself, a T.V program based upon the legend of King Arthur and his 'knights of the round table' appeared on, well, T.V...Obviously...

...Anyway, the title or name ''Sir Lancelot'' was part of the inspiration behind my nickname, as I found it quite amusing at the time and wondered if people often asked him ''So, uhh, do you...Well...Lance quite a bit then?'' in the same irritating way that people ask me a very similar question on a regular basis. The other reason behind my name is the simple fact that I am fascinated by anything explosive (however, I am a perfectly law abiding citizen, of course. I am not an arsonist).

So contrary to popular belief my nickname was not chosen with TF2's pyro in mind, it was chosen a while before he / her / it / whatever existed. However, unfortunately now whenever I burst into flames, someone will always cry ''HA! Burnalot is burning-a-lot!'', as though this is some sort of startling revelation I had overlooked. I can only imagine that their chosen nickname is Captain Obvious. Still, I can see the irony.

(Also, I was going to post in this thread a while back but completely forgot).
