I am dissapointed in valve for this update. It feels like a mod put together by kids. I really don't see how they can release this for example when you give the Demoman the Pain Train, he holds it just like a bottle and you can't see most of the model, and personally I think the model is quite nice. If you hit someone with it you hear a bottle sound and when he taunts with it, you see him trying to drink out of it like his bottle. These things should of been fixed before released, what the hell valve? It really makes them look unproffesional and I hope they get fixed on later release.

The brainslug for the pyro is great, as is the spy's wig and the demo man's hat (much lol). I hope Cheez gets his hat so I can clearly see it's him from a mile off Wink

I like the spy, sniper, engy, medic, heavy hats they seem to just about fit the art style. But the soldier, demo, pyro, hats don't. I'm actually starting to agree with the steam forum whiners, what are they doing. I remember ages ago there was this guys making a lot of hats and they all fit the art style really well and looked good so why are we getting crappily made hats.

The weapons seem a bit questionable too, the pain train effectively makes scouts redundant because a soldier and demo will always be faster jumping, it makes using the spade/bottle kindof pointless as well if the only penalty is 10% increase in bullet damage. The pyros sledge is all right, weird choice but its not exactly game breaking, its almost useless unless it makes killing sentries while ubered easier. The heavy i'm not sure about its further cutting his need for a medic, I guess its not like its a self uber though so they haven't completely broken that relationship and it should improve heavy survivability somewhat when theres no medics around

Did you try it yourself by replacing the model or did you already get it?

Same here, FF has already took me away from TF2 (35 hours of play left Cheesy).  I will give TF2 a blast tonight on fragfest , but I can really see me not liking it...

i wonder if perhaps valve have actually thought this through apart from releasing early and they need the engi update to make sense. The increased cap speed encourages rushing but a well placed sentry would hurt with the increased damage from bullets. The pyro made more powerful vs buildings perhaps because the buildings are getting health buffs or some new weird type of building which the pyro with the sledge would be good at taking down. Same with heavy I suppose, jumping around a corner you can take a sentry at point blank, personal health buff to make this easier to do? Hmm. Engi update now plz!
