RTS is something that has always confused and pissed me off and I want nothing to do with tiny tiny micro managing my troops (or the space equivilant) only to accidentally sell them all and have to start over again. The only reason I posted was to make another joke at Cruelcow. Sorry. |

SP on starcraft 1 was epic. The first time I played the terrain mission, where you have to fortify a base in expectation of a zerg overrun and the first time around I was nowhere near ready. Was impressed by the game at that time and it's probably still fun.
Still SC2 doesn't excite me in any way. If it was the same game with better graphics and new missions I'd get it right away, but they are trying to make it into something ridiculously "special" to justify the ridiculously long development time. And the game still looks like SC1. And then each campaign sold separately? How do they justify that?

i'm fairly disgusted with the retail price, £45 is really giving me problems about buying it. Also this is SC2 episode 1 so i'm expected to buy the 3 campaigns for a total of £135!

blizzard have been infected by populism/entryism/shitism/w/e thanks to wow, its great that they have loads of cash to throw around now thanks to it but its been so long I def need convincing they can still make decent games. The SC2 beta was ok although I suck at sc and hate micro so it was never going to massively excite me, but like is the singleplayer good enough to justify £45? (ok ok £35 on amazon but you could still get mw2: slutfest for cheaper on release)
