A colleague introduced me to the band " Scale the Summit". Brilliant progrock album, all instrumental. I'm really tempted to buy it. Have a listen

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=38WCbm0ZCMM&feature=related Known about this band for a little while. Definately one of those 'I can't beleive they're reasonaly unknown groups', they're fantastic. EDIT: Definately one more band that I think need a mention: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bOBb13yDnzo&feature=related I travelled around Kenya and Tanzania for a month with a group of friends and my Ipod, going through the countries great plains and mountains. I don't think I can listen to any of this band's songs without being reminded of my time there, every single track is a classic.

Which band? If you meant the Answer, they're incredibly bluesy (e.g http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zZGf3JZy5GQ), that songs more their kind of mainstream hit. Gaslight anthem on the other hand sounds like the lead singer of the killers is singing old Springsteen with a modern twist, it's fantastic. AND LEAVE MY LOLRUS ALONE

Christ that is a bit different! Anything with slide guitar + harmonica pretty much = win IMO. AND HE SAID TAKE ME TO THE RIVER! Been jammin' to Star Fucking Hipsters a fair bit recently, aparently this is the first song the Stza's written that isn't politically motivated. It's called "Zombie Christ" . edit - Incidentally, the first time I heard the name Star Fucking Hipsters, I thought of Brahms...
