Only played the demo and found it quite repetitive. Then the huge guy came and pwned me without me even realizing what I'm supposed to do. I dunno, God of War is the best smashy smashy game for me.

i have the wallace and gromit series from telltale its all just a little lack lustre. In the w&g you've got the backup actor for Wallace so he weirdly goes in and out of the voice, the stories are ok and the adventure game puzzles are ok, but nothing was really stand out in it all.

I needed more adventure, well, more Sam and Max at least (hey, I can always FAQ it). The Sam and Max thingy was good, £7 or so for the lot. Now got too much to play Sad

Tommy, Max Payne 2 is a great game - film noir, subplots and a well done in media res, while keeping up the action (while being a trifle easy) and in a manageable short, but not too short, game. I love how you say it is "fucking awful", with no real reason, yet say the first is good to get! (while it is, it was frustratingly hard, used a lot more clichés with more boring levels, and wasn't nearly as polished!).

Get both, anyone who hasn't played them already, they're both good.

I found the 2nd one to be an attempt to recreate the awesomeness of the first one yet completely missing the point. Lost all interest in the character who had seemingly aged 20 years since the first one.

Oh well, matter of opinion i guess.
