Yeah, I just can't imagine many saying that's worth 8 quid a month, and presumably their business model is based on that.

paying means you get access to AvA which iv been taking part in last week, which i have to say is freaking awsome, i was part of a 10 man team working with 3 others (Thats 30 people working together and we are small allinace ) two where attacking other teams bases and my squad was on deffense to make sure we didnt lose any tettorty. for 2 hours its nothing but Tactikes and awosome shooting . at the end we had three hexs which gives us access to crafting stuff and then we went back to normal PvP puging .

paying also gives you access to new stuff first and piorty on basicly everything i "think" but its mostly worth it for the AvA.

their business model is working off, everybody buys a box and mothly sub is so they can keep their server farm running and be able to pay devs to make updates for the game but you just play the game like TF2 if ya dont want to pay.

either way i dont think your ever going to see me in TF2 anymore. for those that are intrested seting up an agency is easy as, and i know a few alliance thats would take in small agency number one thing big bosses are worried about are numbers buecase if ya over expand you dont have enough man power to look after everything so alliance group together as much as possable

Did some PvP tonight, really good fun
You queue up a lot like battlegrounds, can choose if you want to face pre-grouped teams or not and whether you want to be put with people near your own level. Queues are short (< 1min). Game types seem to be a payload cart push like tf2, a points capture onslaught type mode, and a ticker system like Battlefield.

Jetpacks are awesome, it totally makes the game.

So far its been 100% stable for me with no fps hitches or lag.

for the record tonight my alliance has agreed that i can setup an EU agency so if anyone here wants to join up with me just let me know, also i can save name who dares Grins however i will only do this with permision from you lot i just figrue you all are going to swtich to this at some point

Can quite honestly say, I really dislike the look of this game.

Don't quite know how it can claim to be an MMO, looks about as MMO as COD gear wise - only charging the same price for a sidegrade to gameplay :<

 Graphics look a little whack also, but that's just my opinion.

 Ima stick with other games for now, but gl Wing if your'e going into this seriously.

Don't quite know how it can claim to be an MMO, looks about as MMO as COD gear wise

The MMO is the subscription bit, without it it's like playing 10v10 WoW battlegrounds, you just queue up for a PvE or PvP instance and it sorts your teams out for you.
If you subscribe you basically get access to the competitive clan element, where clans can fight over territory, which is valuable becasue it helps you upgrade.

It's also got decent chat and a full talent tree sytem. The domes where you queue up are like cities in any MMO, loads of people running about.
The only MMO thing it doesn't have is silly collect 500 wolf tail quests.

Personally I was having a blast in the non-mmo side of things as it was, very cool to just drop in and play. I'm glad they've kept things to around 10 per side in PvP, It means the combat is fast paced, lag free and more balanced.

I played Age of Conan and Darkfall when they came out, as well as being a WoW veteran. This is much more fun and importantly polished, I've had no crashes, bugs or lag at all - it just works.

From videos I saw it was really a mix of UT (but worse shooting), TF2 (but less character) and WoW (which is meh in itself). And I'm sorry, 10 vs 10 team deathmatch is just nothing special for me, not matter how fancy of a lobby or progression they built around it. It's not much of an MMO either and certainly nowhere near Planetside, which was about the only game so far where I'd gladly pay a monthly fee for shooting other people in the face.

I'm still playing, It's good fun.
It's not team deathmatch, It's Control Points based like most TF2 maps. There are less classes, but each class has more abilities to manage - you have a massive list of class unlocks from which you select three weapons, jetpack, boost (which is an ability that unlocks after you deal lots of damage/healing), and 3 cooldown abilities like grenades or shields.

AvA is interesting, thats more of a game for the clan leaders though, deciding which hexes we should fight over, and which strikeforces should go where.

Yeah but in the end, it's still a 10v10 map. Not the MMOFPS or whatever such games like to call themselves, played too many of those tbh.
