I really enjoyed the couple of times I played gungame- I've had CSS ever since it got thrown in with my copy of HL2, but never really got into the waiting for the round to finish in normal gameplay. It's really not very newbie friendly, particularly with large player counts. It's like arena, but the only class is sniper and they can only use their rifles, and the time limit is longer.

i don't mind it by myself but to be fair i'm most likely to be seen playing it when someone else is. Then again would not be playing TF2 now without knowing people. And L4D2 would suck balls solo too. I do wish DOD:S had better achievements though. All the get 500 kills with such and such a weapon are so boring.

I want DOD:S 2 Instead of CS:S 2 in orange box 2 but blatantly CS has already won ages ago, when gabe asked for what people wanted and everyone said CS. He's like a communist Santa or something? Where all the kiddies get the present that most of them asked for, and who wants that?

I got CSS so I could play prophunt in Gmod. Played a bit of gungame and whatever the normal game mode is which wasn't bad, but poor compared to tf2 and the like.

TF2 has prophunt and it is lulz. Especially when you get pyro prop. The guys that made it though are jerks, CSS prophunt is open source the TF2 authors are keeping it closed, and its bugged and crappy because of it. But not to the point that its unplayable mind.

I haven't actually played TF2 prop hunt yet, but if it's anything like gmod prop hunt then it should be good.

i actually know the guy that made the tf2 prop hunt. he's really in to his coding more so than me, if you sent him a list of bugs you found im sure he would fix them pretty quicky.

i also caved and got css is in the steam sale. though ive been binging mw2 mp and i also got bioshock and trials 2 second edition. so far too many games to play at the moment.

I cba to keep track of the bugs i don't play it enough, it just niggles me that he took the open source css mod and closed it. If he wants to do it as a solo project hurry up and finish it, the regular players know the bugs better than me and they're often exploited. If he can't invest the time or doesn't know how to fix the bugs himself though he should open the code and use the mod sites for help, thats what they're there for. But hes also making it difficult to deploy the mod elsewhere. Its funny going on prophunt with a few people from here but its not the same, you have to sandwich yourself amongst the community of hardcore prophunt players. It'd be way funnier if you could just download the mod and put it on your own clan servers.
