Last few days Ive been addicted to this on the 360. Id say its a better version of the free game, hope they bring it to Steam when the exclusivity contract runs out (its coming out for Vita apparently). I love it. Some of the achievements are absolutely ridiculous though and Im 100% sure Ill never be able to get them lol (like completing the entire game in under 8 minutes WHAT).

Yeah it came out July 4th last year, I picked it up in November after the price dropped. Its still fairly cheap. But yeah, since they are already announcing a Vita version, my guess is that exclusivity is going to run out soon and I dont see a reason to not put this on Steam. Especially if they use the opportunity and make the coop/multiplayer online aswell instead of just local. Heres someone getting the in under 8 minutes-achievement (Hes 3rd on the leaderboard, Im 11000 lol). Holy-, Ill never be able to do that. |

Its a pretty good PC port, allthough it has some flaws like only having a few resolutions (no 1680x1050 so I have to play in a window  ) and whats really disappointing, the multiplayer and coop are still local-only. The Daily Challenge is a cool new feature though and its great to actually have some people on my friendslist to compete with on the leaderboards. Its well worth a purchase. |

today in spelunky I learnt that throwing rats at arrow traps sets them off. I thought they would have a use. Was stuck and all I had was a rat. Then later I accidentally dropped my shotgun and tried to beat stuff to death with a rat and wondered why I was getting killed instead of stuff dying. Also accidentally shot a shop keeper in the black market and had to kill them all, got a jetpack, ankh and 30 bombs to go with my shotgun. Died 2 levels later learning that mantraps do in fact eat you.
