Is it clear what I'm trying to say or is it possible to misunderstand?

I don't understand what's so wrong about wearing the halo. I've never done anything or said anything to an idler which would've annoyed them, but now there are people not wanting to heal or specifically targeting/griefing halos because they idled and didn't get one.

Wtf? I'm not trying to rub it in anyone's face, I think that VALVe should've just said, 'hey stop idling or else' months ago and the whole thing would've been sorted. But it's really starting to get on my nerves that the people who remained impartial, not wanting to get entangled with the 'purists/VALVe' or the idlers, are now being punished by the community. F*ckin BS imo and I'm more angry about the morons making such a big deal out of this than how frustrating the drop system is.

Personally I never saw the idler as a cheat and I was often tempted to use it and I agree that VALVe has dealt with the situation badly, I feel sorry for people who have had their backpacks nuked and feel lucky that it wasn't me. But if I wear a halo I'm suddenly a jerk? I wear them because I think they look cool and if you had one you'd probably do the same. Associating the halo with some kind of smug society is what's really pissing me off because most of the people who are going to be targeted have done jack.

Agree that it is a stupid position to put honest players in.

Valve were true to form and didnt think about the 'punishment' they handed out by giving the honest players a new hat, making them stand out from the crowd.

They should have given the idlers a hat too, maybe some devil horns ??

Pretty much my thoughts exactly...

Frankly, anyone who refuses to help/heal anyone wearing a halo is being extremely petty and childish. I will be wearing my Pyro-halo tonight, not to wind anyone up, make a point against idlers or take any sort of "I've got a halo and you don't because you're a cheater" stance but because I like it. Simples!

There are really medics out there who refuse to heal halo wearing people. Even if only a halo is next to them.

But the best part is, people keep on asking what the halos are about. Most of them don't even know about the whole story

If I go medic, I won't not heal anyone.. thats just arsey and I'd kick anyone doing it for that reason with hesitation!
