Demoman needs the medic the most, there's a reason they gave him the most annoying MEEEEEEDIIIIIIIIC calls!

I don't think the soldier needs the medic that much, he has access to a lot of positions where he can find healthpacks or avoid damage entirely. Being attached to a medic means you have more responsibility (protecting the medic) and your mistakes cost less (ie. a pipe to the face means you run away like a girl with no medic, w/ medic you can just shrug it off.)

Anyway, Medic is credit to team.

Spy is my day job, although I have been known to play heavy and soldier reasonably well.

If I remember correctly a highlander was mentioned around the 19th of August, but that faded into obscurity with the theft of AmS and Torgue. Accursed WDG war machine...

Anyway, I'd be happy to take part in a highlander if it can be arranged and if there is a space for me. My main roles are usually pyro, soldier or occasionally demoman.

Never thought about it that way, but it seems mainly the non-clan-players of the t-regs play solly.
Maybe because we're a bit lone wolfs, prowling from server to server without joining a clan (although the skill/time would be there!).
Solly in a way works similar. While he works well with others, he ain't bound to his teammates like other classes are. Yes he works better with a medic, but opposed to him he CAN work alone. Yes, demo can work alone too, but the second a decent scout sees him, he's pretty much dead. (etc)

Of course the other explanation would be, that we are far from being a statistically significant mass and therefor it's just coincidence.

Well the thing w/ a highlander using the regs, is that once you pick someone for solly, you've got a bunch of people who will be playing one of their weaker classes
