ps. oi scrogg i am not a kill stealer these days!!!!!! only when i was a noooooooob.
... so you're still a kill-stealer Yeah, I get how the game works, but I like feeling as if I'm actually a powerful character rather than a rubber mallet for my mates. Like I said about finding your own play style. Grrrrrr still can't find a hero I am happy with. Defiler just hasn't got enough BAM and I am never able to use her ultimate well...
If you're looking for BAM in terms of hard-hitting with a nuke kinda spell, try Thunderbringer or Moon Queen, very easy to get used to and pretty effective in most teams. sorry for invading your mumble Lister+Scroggage+Fisted!
NOT FISTED'S MUMBLE D= (technically not Lister's or mine either, but DEFINITELY not FISTED's )

Defiler Defiler has her uses, she has an amazing ability to push a tower and apply pressure. Her hero killing power is hit and miss when it comes to it as her ulti is more a protection zone where if an enemy hero can get killed pretty quickly but so can you if they can do enough damage.
Defiler is a solo mid character for sure as if she can control the runes, she can control the lane, because she can spam the wave of death and replenish with the bottle. For sure against an enemy who is competent its going to be tough but i like it when its tough.
In conclusion Defilier is not the best character to start off with. Characters like thunderbringer and pyromancer are good beginner characters as their damage comes through their nukes and not through getting items. Pestilance is another, if you like strength and aracna for the agil although agil are more item dependant so you better hope you can last hit.
To clarify the mumble confusion, it is run by Officerdibble and the HAM guys are guests among bfm. When i went on i was shocked to see a massive amount of new guys on it but it does not bother me, more people to play hon with!

Actually, it's a server we used to pay for as part of the public tf2 server we had hosted by a friend of ours. Luckily for us he allowed us to keep it for free. Me, scroggage and I think Lister have the admin pw and we generally invite anyone on when we want to chat or play something other than TF2 with them.

Well then sorry for invading YOUR mumble dibble! Also thanks fisted! I guess i will put defiler in the bin for a while and play thunderbringer, because yama rocks pyro. I don't really like the STR heroes and I'm not quick enough to disable/stun, so i think I'll just spam nukes all the time

This is all another "wow" like language for me Same here, When they talk of a 'defiler' having plenty of BAM, my first thought was to keep kids away from them
