I think I have three words which may fulfill the role:

Anyway, played the demo on Steam. Must admit, the gameplay is quite satisfying (e.g planting a thug's face into the concrete). My main criticism (of the small demo, at least) is Batman's apparent habit of also playing the role of Captain Obvious (e.g ''Charging those men with guns head on would be suicide, I should find another way around!'').

The demo didn't give much else to go on, really. It does look good, though.

I think the only other concern is the combat system. I get the impression that it might become tedious quite fast, possibly in the same way as Assassin's Creed (simple timing for counters is basically all you needed in that game).

Well everything's just as boring/interesting as you make it to be Tongue there seemed to be enough moves to combine and use, so if you insist on just using the counter system (which is pretty funny btw), it's your own fault.

And those remarks are probably just in the begining, as there is apparently no separate tutorial, so they have to spoonfeed the new players about the possibilities. If it wasn't that expensive I'd be all over it. Love punching people in the face (and in the game) though this is again a topic for the other thread.

Anyone ever playing Fighting Force on PS1? Smiley

Well, despite being dubious about it, I bought the game. I have to say, it is very entertaining. Somehow, planting a thug's face into the concrete never gets old! The game allows you to react to situations quite freely, for example overcoming a group of the Joker's henchmen using different gadgets or just by punching them all in the face.

All-in-all, a very good game so far.

Apparently the Batarang in the collector's edition is just a nasty nasty piece of vacuum formed plastic, so i'm skipping that and pre-ordered the normal version for half the price Smiley
