Dunno if anybody's mentioned it, but what do people think of auto-reload?
Was playing last night with it on and found it pretty useful while I was playing solly (it aided my rocket management), but playing FaN scout and reloading inbetween every shot, it really pissed me off, and trying to aim the revolver while the frenchman keeps chucking all the bullets out is a lil annoying.
I don't know much about configs but is there a way to have it on for some classes and off for others, save going into the options each time you switch class?

if you can find the command in your config.cfg you can create (or may have already) class.cfg (one for each class) and put the command in each one.. should do the trick

Auto reload is great once you remember you can break out of it by firing.
They just need to add "cruise control" now and I'll barely have to press any keys at all.

you can add "cruise control" with scripts, but I'll kick you if you use them on our servers

Auto-reload is great, they just need to match up the medic reload animation with the actual reload now, something that has been broken for a long fucking time!

Yes, the fact the ammo replenishes a good second after the animation plays is annoying. It doesn't seem to happen on anything else, except a bit of delay on the shotgun.

lol, its easy enough.. go to your cfg folder located in team fortress 2/tf/cfg open the file called config.cfg and find the command cl_autoreload (it should have a number after it also) Delete that command and re-enter it into each of the class.cfg files in the same folder
if you want auto reload on for that class (eg solly) type cl_autoreload 1 if you want auto reload off for that class (eg scout) type cl_autoreload 0
once you have done that for all 9 classes, close your configs and your done
Im pretty sure you can set it for each weapon too.. but I havn't looked that much into it.. sorry

Hmm, for which weapons do you want it deactivated? The only one I can imagine is the spy revolver...

Bluts is quite anoying. Knowing that you can shoot to interupt the reload helps though, just the animation gets a bit tedious.

Well then deactivate it for the entire medic! Medigun and saw are not reloadable
