I don't like the relic downloader, this way its much faster.

I think it's easy to understand even though it's a German page. (download the patches with EN_2....)

We're all in the WDG community group I hope, maybe play tonight. I need the practice at least, and Dawn of War 2 I'm waiting on the new patch which might make multiplayer more fun then previously, so CoH is my strategy game right now.

yes that sounds good final! I am still a bit rusty but i have never been the best at strategy games.

racing games > FPS > strategy. thats how my skill leval goes in terms of the online genres.  I can put up a nice fight against average players but your COH nut will always beat me because he just knows the strats and the unit info beter

I'm FinaldeathRN on CoH.

Ringle and I tried playing against, first insane, then hard computers 2v2 - either the AI has incredibly got better (it certainly was patched since I last played so it didn't break), or we just sucked. I think the latter. I'm a little out of practice.

Damn scout vehicles and lack of AT... Sad

This is what I played a lot of before ToV was out. If you download and install it (which is easy), should be fun. Will be trying it tonight if I'm not subbing the match, I prefer the more cinematic defences and attacks then normal games I think Cheesy

Yes competive coh is stupidly difficult if you don't know all the units and strats like the back of your hand. In 1vs1 all it takes is one wrong move and its over. If you know all the units and strats then it starts becoming pretty good fun.

i still get my arse handed to me in 2vs2 but in 1vs1 its going ok

Definitely Ok Online - I presume it would be Ok with lan.

I have some parts form steam and some from retail - they seem to work fine together and I can play online with other retail/steam players.
