On public servers where people just run together to have a good time, not to simply bash other players, a group of well organized clan mates can really ruin the fun.

Okay, now I understand.
It's  a bit borderline since I hesitate to call that "lame", but it's problematic, especially when the other team is clearly nowhere near that level of gameplay.

What do you consider lame/cheap tactics on a pub game? (Besides respawn camping)

1) Relentless spawn camping for sure - I personally think it has its place on some maps, but I went with public opinion on WDG server rules.

2) Deliberate clan stack - specifically when asked not to (our friends at NuB, BFM and IDK don't do this and tend to auto assign as well - thanks!)

3) Favouritism - medics only healing clan mates and ignoring everyone else

4) Griefing - deliberate wind ups perpetrated on own team (ubering enemy spies for example)

5) The twin medic / uber thing. When medics want to play at running round ubersawing people to get uber continuously. Utterly pointless at helping the team tbh...

6) People who ignore their own capture point (i.e. don't stand on it to block capture). This is specifically the case when the final cap is nearly taken (90% blue) - people kill the attackers then walk off (and wonder why they lose when a blue scout sneezes on the point to capture it). Why do people run away from the point when it needs defending the most?

i dont know if this counts too but.....
Once i played sniper on pub server, we were playing against a team with 5 clan members in it. I've had one of my better days and was able to domintate 1/3 of the team. After a while one of those clan members changed to our team, took a demo and he started to stand before me so i couldnt hit anything, he followed me all the time so i was forced to change class.
I never saw that happen again,but still,it was anoying.

Well, we were having a picknick at B, with tea and cookies, waiting for you to to come by and say hi. And  when you finally came (tea and cookies all gone by then) you were exhausted and sweaty and not a pretty sight to look upon.

I was aiming for tactical moves in a game which might be to some degree valid, yet have a negative impact on the overall fun of a pub game (like respawn camping).

Actually I wouldn't count a scout rush as a lame tactic. It's annoying, yes, but then again highly situational (usually reservered to the beginning of tug-of-war maps).

I'd put the medic uber chain thing in this category. It's tactically valid, but it can really mess up an attacking team.
