Now someone understands what ideas will appeal.

I've put nods to Ripsaw and Gasman into the skins, and had an idea for Hex or Em on the Pyro, so I might throw in something for me.

I've got ideas for tweaks to the train skin, and I've found the sound file I'd need to edit to put in maniacal laughter, but obviously this needs Ripsaw's input! If you're reading this, check your PMs.

For anyone morbidly curious, the mind set was the same one that I used for playing the very old game of "Carmagedon + Splat Pack". Oh happy memmories, especially the time I got into the football stadium As for the laffing, that came naturaly [although listening to what I recoreded in the cold light of day has started to make me wonder if I'm still sane. But after a quick chat with my pet flying purple concreat donkey, I know I'm OK]


As for the Uncle Sam posters...

Well either Papa Fade or Junta. I mean their both the head of the WDG nation after all. If your gonna redecorate a server, why not include them on some posters. Slogans can be nice little uplifting ditties "We want you - to rain down in a shower of chunks" maybe? I'm not entirely sure. I've not been awake that long and the caffieen isn't working yet.

Oh hang on, my face and the slogan "Stop Burning - That's an order!" or something.

If there's on thing for certain, it's that this little comunity has a fantastic melting pot of creativity and tallent. So I'm sure some one will have a truly inspired idear very soon.

1. The player models, yes, the rest no, unless John or Dave edit the config, but I don't expect them to do that, there are good reasons for having sv_pure 1.

Ok, after some investigation on the VDC, I know how to allow specific files, such as the train skin/sound, with sv_pure remaining on. John/Dave give me a shout if you'd like to do this and I can send you an updated pure_server_whitelist.txt.

EDIT: Ripsaw, just got round to listening to the laughter tracks. If they don't deserve an applaud I don't know what does.
