Couldn't think of anywhere else to put this, so new thread, huzzah!

Nothing too exciting, just thought I'd do some erotic explaining of what's going down in sainsburys town lately.

As some of you know (I believe John got a semi for it) I work as an online shopper; Thurs,Fri 17-21 and Sat 6-10, hence why I'm generally late to the frag-fest and have to try and leave at a reasonable time (I always fail). But as of late, the Online department is changing, and they wanted to change all my hours to start at 6am (would involve at least one case of me working then going straight to uni, considering I end up just sleeping all day after the saturday shift, I don't think that's gonna happen).

So I politely told them to go bum themselves. Found out yesterday they're going to change my department to the counters and today sorted out my new hours; Sun 12-16, Tues - 1330-2130 (Sooooo much better IMO (would rather not do Sun, but twas the only hours available, but tis afternoon, so not too bad)) So this now means I can get my fill of the WHOLE sexy frag fest without being knackered from work, and worrying about getting up the next day

Though it's slightly ironic. For those that don't know the counters are the places (usually at the back) with all the random fresh stuff.
The areas I've been put on is Meat, Fish & Delicatessen

....I'm a strict vegetarian...

My GF was a veggie till I took a KFC back to hers (she couldnt resist..)
she said "ok, ill eat chicken but nothing else"
week or 2 later I made myself steak and chips for dinner (made her a salad with chips.. I dont cook for veggies) and the bitch stole my steak and has now become a full meat eater

Those are way better hours, and will be good to have you around more on Fridays too. Stopping at 9 on Friday and starting on 6 am on Sat had be to be hell, there's no way I'd be making that 6am start

I've done counters work before,when i was at ASDA. Done pizza,curry, rotissery, deli and fish.
It's not that bad (though changing out the fat buckets and cleaning the ovens on the rotissery was horrible, and you end up smelling like what you serve) Funnily enough, i always wanted to be one of the online shopper dudes, seemed a much better job to me at the time.

Hopefully the exposure will rehabilitate you to eating meat again

I'm busting out my mad shopping skills when this oldish man who already had the swagger of a guy with his head firmly up his ass strolls up.

He thrusts a bag of sainsbury granulated white sugar at me and says
"What's the difference between this sugar and that? *pointing to a bag of Silver Spoon*"
I stare blankly at him for a second
"...I'm not exactly sure what you're asking"
"*mega sigh* Well look here *reads* "Sainsburys Granulated Cane Sugar", I want to know what's the difference between this so called cane sugar and this regular sugar!"

"...*raise an eyebrow*...Nothing, both of them (like most sugars) come from a sugar cane plant. That one just happens to mention cane on it"

To which I received a look of both disgust and disbelief, after which he stormed off.
