Oh tipically the English currancy is Queen on the "Heads" side and some print on the "Tails". It's just recently that the mint has gone for this different approch to it's "Tails". Does make a nice change, in a limmited edition kind of way.

I've been wanting to do this for ages, I just always seem to get the old-style coins. Sad

My Grandfather collected all of those special £5 coins though, so I still have a few of those. Plus a proof set of the previous designs.

Incidentally, I can't stop checking out what's in between the legs of the ltmamacat. Is this normal? Maybe I'm straight for people but gay for cats

I collected all but the 50p within two weeks of them being released but I still haven't got that last one. I have got one with 5 dolphins in a circle, but it's not quite the same.
